Ben, Bob and a Ball of String

by the Award Winning Habersham Authors

Ben was so happy, he was dancing with his mom! To understand why they were so happy, you have to know the rest of the story.

Ben was a very handsome talking cow. He collected a lot of things, like cows often do, but his most treasured possession was an unusual, microscopic ball of string. He showed it to everyone who visited and it was even featured in an article in the local paper.

Bob, a very clever green cat was reading the paper that day and when he saw the picture of the ball of string, he decided that he would have it for himself. He wanted to eat it!

He ran right up to Ben and just took the treasure! Ben could not believe his eyes!

He called his mom who was a fox (not the animal - she was a beautiful cow) and told her what happened. Unfortunately for Bob the cat, Ben's mom liked to fight. She hunted down the cat and beat him up. Of course he gave her the string ball (although it was a bit soggy with cat drool) and tried to escape.

Ben's mom called the cops and held onto Bob until the police arrived. Bob went to jail, Ben got his string back, and he and his mom were so happy, they were last seen dancing around the farm!

The end.

Claudia says, "I enjoyed this story. It was a lot of fun having so many writers in one place helping write this story. Good job y'all!"
